Our studio villas and 2-bedroom villas are situated in an architecturally designed resort nestled at the base of Cardrona ski field. 

The resort offers contemporary and luxurious accommodation for dedicated snow seekers. Yet its location between Wanaka and Queenstown makes it an ideal base for summer holidays exploring the region's wineries, restaurant and adventure activities.

Communal facilities are available for use by all guests and include a pool, jacuzzi, fire pit, onsite bar and pizzeria, and the sale of grocery items at the on-site reception.

The resort is located on the Crown Range, State Highway 89. This is the highest state highway in New Zealand and joins the townships of Wanaka, Arrowtown and Queenstown.

Cardona is a historic village which contains a few residential homes and accommodation providers; the Cardrona Hotel which - was established in 1863 and therefore New Zealand's oldest pub; as well as several other historic buildings.

Cardona's histroy dates back to 1865 when the region saw an influx of gold hunters. Their success resulted in the establishment of several buildings including a butchery, school and stores. Cardrona remained an important commercial centre through the 1870s and 1880s, although it fluctuated with the changing fortunes of the mining industry.

It's natural, unspoilt beauty has remained however and is still attracts thousands of visitors every year.
